With the conflict in Ukraine continuing, the humanitarian crisis is worsening by the day with millions of Ukrainians now requiring urgent support with food, shelter and medical supplies. We want to offer some help.

In support, we will be renaming May’s monthly beer “Solidarity” and for every pint of it sold 10p will be donated to the Disasters & Emergency Committee’s Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal. The DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. They provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection to those desperately needing aid. As of April 21, the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal has raised over £300 million.

Our total donation to the DEC will be made-up from sales of Solidarity to our trade customers and through our online and brewery shops, drive-through and Tap Yard. We are also speaking to our suppliers, hoping they can assist in the costs of the beer, with any savings also donated.

We hope you enjoy the beer and thank you in advance for your support to the cause.

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the terrible state of war.

1 litre bottle = 1 3/4 Pints of fresh beer.

Glass bottle full of delicious fresh beer.

The beer is ready to drink, no settling time is required.

Shelf Life

These products contain fresh beer and have a short shelf life compared to bottled beer. The beer is best within 7 days of delivery, drunk as fresh as possible and within 1-2 days of opening.

To be at its best fresh beer should be stored in a cool environment somewhere around 8-12 degrees, a garage is ideal. If you’d like your beer at fridge temperature please be aware that a harmless ‘chill haze’ may develop, the haze will not affect the flavour of the beer but may reduce its clarity. It’s also best to keep your beer out of direct sunlight.
